Introduction

As our instructor Elif Ayıter stated, blogspot has many powerful web design tools. During the last week I went through some of these features and created this blog to try some of them. But I'm not planning to use blogspot to create my term project for this course.

Thanks to my internship at Bilende, I have significant experience with PHP, CSS, HTML and JavaScript. I think I'll use these web design technologies to create my own web site. I'm aware that this course has nothing to do with coding. Therefore I'll be mostly working with CSS. There are various frameworks for CSS to create better websites. One of them is the 960 grid system. (www.960.gs) I'll mainly use this framework to satisfy my grid needs. 

I haven't decided on the information I'm going to put in to my website. I'll either make a website about myself or about a newly developing music genre called dubstep. Hopefully I'll decide on this in the following weeks.
